He wasn’t just my best friend.
He was arrogant. Tormented. Reckless.
I shouldn’t have wanted him, but I did. I still want him.
Now, five years after a drunken mistake of a night, he’s back.
And something has changed. Dark under-eye circles mar his pretty face, and his mouth no longer smirks as readily as before.
I should know better than to trust him with my heart again, but I can’t forget how he breathed life into me back when we were kids. His darkness merged with mine and became something else.
Something brighter.
We clicked together like two jagged, leftover puzzle pieces.
My best friend. My partner in crime. My ride-or-die.
As he spirals further into self-destruction, I need to find a way to protect him from his harrowing past.
Before it breaks us both.

I can’t tell if we’re fighting…or flirting?
Being traded to the Seattle Vipers has left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand, they’re my team, the team I’ve loved and supported since I was a kid, but on the other hand, he’s here. Him. Ant Decker. Infamous NHL bad boy. Right wing to my left. A man who’s made it his sole purpose in life to be better than me.
Well, the joke’s on him because I’m faster and my stats are better than his.
Not that I’m competing with him. Of course not. I wouldn’t stoop to his level.
He’s the most infuriating person I’ve ever met. A dark, chaotic presence that distracts me.
When we’re not coming to blows on the ice, he tries to provoke me by calling me Princess. And Pretty Boy...and Babygirl.
I hate it. Obviously, I do. It makes me so angry I can hardly see straight.
So why does my body react as if I like it?

Reckless Hearts

Some people are meant to be in your life. Others are meant to turn your life upside down.
Seb:
Marcus is my sister’s best friend. He’s also the most gorgeous and charming man in the universe. And he knows it.
He’s always seen me as a nerdy geek who can’t string together a coherent sentence around him. So when he unexpectedly propositions me at a party, I decide to take the opportunity for all it’s worth.
Turns out it’s a night that will change everything.
Marcus:
There’s one person who’s always been off-limits: my best friend’s younger brother. But when I’m annoyed at Saskia one night, I don’t just cross the line. I obliterate it.
That one night determines the trajectory of my life.
Because it turns out one encounter with Seb will never be enough. And as the years go by, Seb and I collide over and over again, drawn together by an unexplainable force neither of us can escape.
But how can I accept Seb’s heart when I’m not sure if mine is worthy to give?
